Novus Events is an event services business which supplies Photographers, DJs, Event Management and other event services to a large range of events from birthdays to 180,000 patron street festivals.As an Owner Investor, I sit in an oversight role, letting our team of 16 employees manage the day-to-day operations. Having set up this business at 16 years old, I required keen competitive business acumen, strong people management and team-building skills. Alongside extensive stakeholder management and the ability to deliver top tier quality event services.The business was initially started as a platform for my event photography hobby. Shortly after, we undertook a well-planned expansion to expand our event services offering. After shifting our focus to efficiency and streamlining, we developed the business into a passive entity. I was engaged to undertake the delivery of key digital innovation outcomes. Such as the integration of Technology and STEAM based learning into the curriculum.
