The project scope amounted to approx. € 2.5M Timmermans Infratechniek BV was contracted for the construction of a new quay in the "Kanalhafen" of Heilbronn. The project is part of a renovation program for the facilities in the canal port of the Neckar river in Heilbronn. The main project consists of the installation of approx. 150m1 steel sheet piling, the removal of the existing bank and bank protection to the channel floor and the adjustment and installation of various facilities for the operationalization of the new quay.BackgroundThe Stadt Heilbronn intends to renew the facilities in the canal port (quays and mooring facilities). The facilities are now more than 70 years old and show some very large damage. Since, at high water from the Neckar, the canal port serves as a flood area, the quays and mooring facilities are exposed to large hydraulic loads as a result of increased water levels and flow velocities. As such, there is a need to renew the facilities.

The concrete parking was constructed in a building pit with a floor area of 2,391 m2 and a capacity of 2,894 storage places (2,714 standard bicycles, 80 “buiten modal” bicycles, 100 “OV” bicycles and 40 scooters).BackgroundThe use of bicycles in Maastricht is in a upward movement. More bicycle parking spaces are needed around the central train station. To give the “Stationsplein” of Maastricht a quality impulse, the choice was made for the realization of an underground bicycle and scooter parking. The parking is provided with two entrances; one bicycle and scooter entrance and a pedestrian entrance. The bicycle and scooter entrance is equipped with two tapis roulant (treadmills). Both entrances are fully integrated in the existing above-ground environment of “Stationsplein” and “Stationsstraat”. The design also fits in well with the surrounding historic monumental buildings such as the railway station, hotels and shops.The construction was carried out on behalf of the cooperating parties the City of Maastricht, Province of Limburg, ProRail and NS.

The project scope amounted to approx. € 11M."Combinatie De Koempel VOF" is a joint venture between Dura Vermeer and Ploegam BV for the design and realisation of the reconstruction of the "Rode Beek" in Brunssum, The Netherlands.The main objective of the project is the (re-)connection of the Brunssummerheide and Schinveldse Bossen, as part of the Dutch ecological main structure.The project has a integrated client team of the municipality of Brunssum, Waterboard "Roer & Overmaas" and the province of Limburg. The project includes the excavation of aprox. 500,000 m3 of mine stone (a waste product of the former coal mining in the one the Dutch State mines, "Hendrik"), re-landscaping and formation of a new valley (with depths upto 25 meters) for the "Rode Beek" and the former Terca factory terrain, building of a new valley bridge with a span of 75 meter and a hight of 15 meters.
