I am a founding partner and wealth advisor who also serves as chief financial officer at Octavia Wealth Advisors. Fueled by a high level of intellectual curiosity, I am a consummate problem solver who is not satisfied until I have found an appropriate solution. I provide assistance with planning and technical issues to the entire Octavia team. As CFO, I also manage the firm’s finances and serve as a technology expert. I work to build infrastructure for the financial and technical side of the firm, which enhances our advisors’ ability to better serve their clients.Before becoming a founder of Octavia, I spent over 18 years as a financial consultant at Midwest Financial Partners working with clients and managing the firm’s finances. Previously, I worked as a computer consultant, helping to design and implement portfolio management software for financial advisors.I received a Bachelor of Science degree in human and organizational development from Vanderbilt University. I also completed an executive education course called “At Retirement” at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, I am a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).
