Started as a basic help desk technician, worked my way up through being a server administrator to network administrator to Director, Network Operations. In 2008 I chose to step down and relocate from NJ to OH so that I could be involved with 'Ambassadors in Sport', a not for profit organization. I took on a part-time role, telecommuting and visiting the NJ office once a month, assisting in various projects in both the technical support group and the Internet group.

Network Administrator using LANtastic v5 and later, Microsoft Windows NT v3.51 and 4.0. Projects included designing and implementing low-level security for LANtastic; migrating from LANtastic peer-to-peer network to MS Windows NT client/ server network; setting up company E-mail and Internet connectivity; setting up remote access to the NT environment; configuring the NT server to use TCP/IP with WINS and DHCP; implementing anti-virus software for the NT environment; implementing hard disk management for the NT servers, including RAID, partition management, scheduled backups and scheduled defragmentation; configuring client access to the AS/400 using a mixture of direct connect cards and gateway servers; creating a universal purchase order system using Lotus 123r5w; creating a “Product Costing and Information” program using Lotus 123r5w. Responsible for PC support and training to 65 users and PC maintenance for all computers.
