• Innovation - Spearheaded the development of a cutting-edge approach to delivering a high-density electrode into deep parts of the brain, resulting in the creation of an innovative implant designed to help patients with neurological disorders. - Designed and realized the manufacturing of over 10 generations of prototypes, utilizing the state-of-the-art Stanford cleanroom facility to ensure the highest level of precision and quality. - Initiated and led a collaborative effort between three different groups in MS&E, EE, and Neuroscience, resulting in the development of “Neuroroots”, which was subsequently awarded a grant from the Wu Tsai Neuroscience Institute to further evaluate its potential for human clinical application. - Secured two patents with the Stanford Office of Technology Licensing.• Academic - Awarded R21 ($275,000 #1R21EY026365-01) - Wrote featured article in a special issue on brain from Advanced Functional Materials, - Published a manuscript on "NeuroRoots". - Communicated through articles publishing, conference and podcast around Brain Machine Interfaces - Presented my research in 4 international conferences and multiple talks on-campus.• Leadership - Sparked and lead cross-functional team: 4 different groups involved creating a 15 people cross-functional team (MS&E, EE, Neuroscience and Clinical). - Managed progress and delivery for the Neuroscience:Translate granted that was awarded to our lab • Entrepreneurship – Commercialization of NeuroRoots for medical and BCI applications - Awarded Stanford grant: Neuroscience:Translate - Filled multiple PCT applications and worked with Stanford OTL through patenting process.

During my PhD program I focused on designing, manufacturing, and testing electronics that interact with biology. I am passionate about developing cutting-edge technologies that can make a real impact on people's lives.• Innovation:- Developed 5+ prototypes of organic electronic devices for in-vitro and in-vivo bioelectronics research- Developed functional prototypes for the following devices: Intra-cortical probe (SEEG), Surface micro-electrode arrays (ECoG), Organic micro-transistor arrays (OECTs), Ion pumps arrays (OEIPs), and Organic biosensors- Developed new strategies to enable the micro-manufacturing of complex organic implantable devices- Worked in cross-functional teams and collaborated with neuroscientists from partner hospitals to demonstrate the functionalities of those devices• Academic:- Published 6 peer-reviewed articles on fundamental and applied research- Presented my research at 4 international conferences and 2 lectures (OrgBIO Trainning (FP7/2007-2013) and EMSE Research Symposium), and multiple talks on campus- Mentored 2 NNIN REU students• Entrepreneurial:- Worked with foreign investors and entrepreneurs to commercialize bioelectronic medical devices- Gained a strong understanding of the business side of the industry and the importance of developing products that meet both scientific and commercial needs- PhD sponsorship from Orthogonal Inc.

During my PhD program, I spent 4 months in Cornell University.There I received an extensive training in micro-fabrication in cleanroom environment and organic material processing. I started my worked on flexible neural probes.

• Shipped software and firmware for the main product of the company, a device for direct cochlear nerve monitoring.• Structured the startup software development using GIT versioning.• Animated various design thinking workshop with clients.

In a CEA/EMSE team, I have been working on the characterization of Android NFC security.
