Due to the acquisition of i3 the number of data specialists grew with approximately 45 FTE and EY is now an important player in the field of Business Intelligence, Data, Analytics and Predictive Analytics. With this acquisition EY can even better meet the expectations of organizations that operate or wish to operate on a data-driven basis. For our customers and future customers it means that there is a larger (inter) national network of specialists at their disposal. Holland Casino’s ambition is to be completely data driven in 2020. To achieve this goal they started a Master Data Management project. The primary goal of the project is to clean guest related data, and form the cleaned data to one golden record that represents the guest of Holland Casino.The sources that contain guest related information are being analysed and connected to the MDM tooling. Within the tooling there is a process called matching & merging which is based on pre-defined business ruling. After the matching & merging data stewards can validate the data.Within the project I did fulfil the role of IT project lead and Scrum master for coordinating and manage the Master Data Management Project within Holland Casino.- Project lead function Master Data Management project- Keeping the product backlog up-to-date and align with the product owner.- Creating and planning of new sprints every 2 weeks.- Organize and chair the review- and retrospective sessions- Scrum master role within the scrum sessions- Overall project management (Planning, Scope monitoring, Management Reporting etc.)

Within the Holland Casino organisation one of the major subjects is the 360 degrees customer view. Holland Casino is focused on Business Intelligence and Business Analytics to form a 360 degrees client view of their customers. They want this to get more insight information about their customers, and do more direct marketing. The focus of the 360 degrees customer view is to extract data from several sources and creating one new data warehouse. Sources will be analysed and the data will be loaded into a new data warehouse based on business needs and rules. The new data warehouse will be available for reporting, analysis and dashboarding.Within Holland Casino I did fulfil the role of IT project lead and Scrum master for coordinating and managing the 360 degrees customer view. Within the financial services the centralization or integration of existing back office administrations has been an important topic in recent years. In this context, DLL with the BI Foundation project wants to consolidate data from global source systems into one new system. The sources need to be analysed and unambiguously unlocked. The data must be brought together in a data warehouse, whereupon reports, analyses and dashboards will be connected. For the LicWid project, liquidity data will be collected and made available to Rabobank. The project was following the BI strategy documentation of the National Police.
