I am a passionate full-stack web developer, with more than 10+ years experience building production applications. I have been fortunate enough to have worked with a diverse mix of technologies, infrastructures, and personality types. I studied computer science at the University of South Florida, where I was accepted into the college of engineering as a Freshman.I am currently the Head of Engineering at Pigeonly, Inc. Where I get to spend my day doing what I love, developing cool helpful web applications. I manage, support, and coach a small team of fantastic software developers. All while working with some fascinating and fun technologies. I help guide and implement the technology choices of the company from infrastructure to development language.Few people get to say that they do what they love, I find myself to be one of the lucky ones that can. I love software development, and the instant gratification provided by building web applications. Be it working on a team building large applications or working on a small project on my own I find both to be enjoyable and rewarding in their own ways. I have worked on a large number of projects professionally and have a wide berth of experience. I have built streaming media applications that utilized Wowza Media Server to support adaptive bit rates and to support playback of media on mobile devices. I have built websites for local political campaigns, small and large eCommerce sites with experience using a wide array of payment processors (Anet, Worldpay, Stripe, Paypal, Payoneer, and Square). I have built applications that use geo location to help users find local resources, and large scale data mining systems. I have experience working with technologies like PHP (Zend Framework, Symfony2, Laravel,), python (Flask and Django), Ruby (Rails, Sinatra), JavaScript (JQuery, Angularjs), HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Perl, Shell Scripting, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. There is nothing I can’t build!
