My passion is—and always has been—finding the fastest and most efficient way possible of doing whatever it is I am doing.As a student, I'd skip textbooks and focus solely on practice exams to maximize my grades. That got me to an internship at 3M, where I picked on something that changed my life.See, I noticed that all VPs had spent decades at the company except for one. When I talked to him to learn how he got into this role, he explained that 3M had acquired his company, and he was folded in.At that moment, entrepreneurship became the “hack” I was looking for.And during my Masters, I got my chance.The Internet was just starting, so I decided to jump into the startup world where everybody was starting on the same level playing field.Software was the great equalizer—with just a laptop, you could build something as amazing as a decades-old corporate giant (better, even).So, I passed on a secure engineering position to go all-in.My ego convinced me I could build things better than anyone else—This led to hard lessons—trying to do everything myself without lawyers or accountants, ultimately watching my first venture crash during the 2001 dot-com bust.Letting go of my entire team became the most painful moment of my career.I vowed never to let that happen again.And thanks to those early lessons learned……I'm proud to have led multiple successful companies to acquisition, including:→ Nimcat (acquired by Avaya, 2005)→ Tungle (acquired by BlackBerry, 2011)→ Foko (acquired by Workforce Software/ADP, 2021)Today, I'm building Bloks.app – an AI-powered relationship intelligence platform that transforms how professionals manage and nurture their business relationships.What started as a simple scheduling tool has evolved into a comprehensive platform that:→ Automatically captures and synthesizes meeting notes→ Creates intelligent briefs with relationship context→ Generates customized industry reports→ Proactively suggests relationship-building opportunitiesWhile initially embraced by VCs, Bloks now serves professionals across industries who need to build meaningful relationships at scale.Our vision is to revolutionize how professionals manage relationships through intelligent automation—bringing the Bloks experience to every relationship-driven team worldwide.Want to learn more about Bloks?
