Na een succesvolle periode in diverse senior management rollen in het luchtvaartdomein, heb ik in 2022 besloten dat het tijd was voor een verandering. Op zakelijk en zeker ook persoonlijk vlak: minder reizen, meer thuis bij mijn gezin. Daarnaast wilde ik nu de kans nemen om mijzelf als ondernemer te bewijzen. En dat dus in een nieuwe sector waar ik een wezenlijke bijdrage wil leveren aan de energietransitie.

Quatt is an ambitious start-up that was founded in 2021 by two entrepreneurs and brothers from the Netherlands. Our goal is to accelerate the transition to sustainable heating in the Netherlands and abroad. Our first product is a smart, hybrid heat pump. We are developing a highly advanced control system based on several AI technologies, like Machine learning and Deep learning. This system enables us to operate our heat pumps, in conjunction with already installed natural gas heaters, in the most cost- or energy-efficient way, at any given day. The required energy transition will provide significant business opportunities and I believe Quatt will successfully play its role. That is why I invested early on in their startup. As engaged investor, I support in the Advisory Board with focus on strategy, growth, international expansion, and execution.

Unilode Aviation Solution (previously CHEP Aerospace Solutions) undertakes specialist services for the Aviation industry including ULD pooling and repair and maintenance services. Unilode Aviation Solutions' network of 50 certified repair stations, 30 of which are owned and managed by Unilode, provides maintenance and repair services for ULDs, galley carts and ground support equipment across the world. This allows us to manage over 120,000 ULDs for more than 40 airlines over 480 airports globally. Unilode Aviation Solutions is owned by EQT.As Managing Director/SVP EMEA I am fully responsible for all ULD Management and MRO activities in the Europe, Middle East & Africa region. This includes full P&L responsibility for all Operations, Sales, Quality/Certification, Operational Excellence teams as well as the relevant Finance and HR teams in a dotted line capacity.Unilode Aviation Solutions provides specialist services for the aviation industry including ULD management and repair&maintenance services. As Regional Director I am responsible for expansion and executing Unilode’s strategy in the EMEA region, including overall profitability. The EMEA region has grown from 3 to 10 locations and quadrupling revenue. Specific responsibilities include:• Growing the Aerospace Container Pooling business by pursuing new customers for ULD Management and/or MRO services• The overall profit and operational performance of a network of aviation component repair facilities spread across Europe, Middle East & Africa.• Setting up new repair locations to support Unilode's (CHEP) global growth via:- Acquisition - Greenfield expansion- Setting up new subcontractor organizations where in-sourcing is not economically viable • Obtaining and maintaining all necessary Aviation Regulatory approvals. Be the Accountable Manager for Unilode's (CHEP Aerospace) EASA and FAA licenses.• Setting and achieve operational budgets and KPI's• Opportunistically grow MRO sales outside of core business activities where returns are above average and support the business via overhead cost reduction.• Member of the Executive Leadership Team of Unilode Aviation Solutions;

The goal of the Business Development department is to sustain the long-term growth of Driessen and continuously improve Driessen’s competitive strength to ensure that Driessen stays the number 1 business partner for aircraft interiors and equipment. The Director Business Development reports to the Board of Directors of the Driessen Aerospace Group.Tasks and responsibilities:• Lead proposal teams from start RFP until contract award. The departments Customer Service of Driessen Aircraft Interiors are responsible for the complete quote-to-order process, the sales planning to the production in Thailand and logistics of the product to the customer. The manager Customer Service was member of the Management Team of the Galley Equipment business unit.Tasks and responsibilities:• Managing the Customer Service departments in the Netherlands (11 FTE), Houston, USA (4FTE) and Singapore (2FTE);• Restructuring and reorganizing the Customer Service departments and processes;• Optimizing the (internal) contacts between departments (sales, production, logistics);• Responsible for the Business Development and Sales of the Healthcare market;

ConTeyor is an international company that develops, designs and produces reusable packaging material for the automotive industry.
