When we first initiated efforts to stand up the new Organizational Excellence division, it was Marchell who stepped forward out of the ranks, rolled up her sleeves and dug in to serve as our primary transition coordinator, refiner of the operating model, and my key advisor to me and our divisional leadership team. Marchell assured that we were effectively addressing the big ‘Why’ to help provide clarity of purpose and expected outcomes for our team members in the new division. Really could not have made all the progress and deliver on the critical commitments we did over the last three years without her as part of our OE team. On top of the day-to-day and strategic planning related work activities on her docket, Marchell somehow continues to find the energy to coordinate our recruitment outreach efforts with Morgan State University and to facilitate scheduling and execution of the Red Cross blood drives for the entirety of Richmond Fed! An incredibly empathetic, energetic, and committed teammate who is beloved by all.
