Once promoted, more responsibilities within the business were trusted in me. While participating in the management training programs, I learned a lot about business. Having a great coach, I learned how to run a store - from hiring employees and analyzing numbers, to teaching others how to run a business.

Challenging and fast-paced property and people management role in a professional setting. As Property Manager, I participated in all aspects of running a Multi-Family, Luxury Living Community. From scheduling appointments and leasing to prospective residents, to office work utilizing technology resources, vendor sourcing, even ordering and receiving supplies. Other tasks included; keep records of stock for three properties and complete releases, weekly manager meetings, and frequent performance calls to ensure property on success. A day on the job consisted of; communication via call, email, text and in person with prospects, residents, direct supervisor, Corporate Office, and vendors. The most important role was to be a positive influence for a team of Leasing Agents and coach them to be their best each day to achieve personal and team goals - and celebrate when we hit +8% increase in occupancy within my first year and a half!

As a treatment counselor I had many opportunities to climb the ladder of success. I was introduced to a whole different world, and I learned so much.Some daily duties included;Help clients meet expectations of appropriate daily living, Advocate for clients and their families, Hold clients to high standard and push them to actively participate in treatment, Complete paperwork correctly and in a timely mannerSome things that were important for me to accomplish; Climb MTC ladder by learning and growing through attending training sessions/meetings and completing tasks, to become certified to pass medications to clients on daily basis, and to write reviews on personal performance. I climbed the ladder as one of the first TC’s to do the accelerated program and gained a lot of knowledge, as well as perspective. I left Orchard Place to find a position that challenged a different aspect of my education, and to gain management experience.
