Marci Bridgeford is no stranger to adoption, it seems like every stray dog that crosses her path turns into a wags to riches story, which she currently has two of these “stories” living in her home. While saving dogs was fun and rewarding it never filled the haunting ache that resided in her chest that only having a child of her own could heal. After 10 years of struggling with infertility Marci Bridgeford and her husband where blessed with a beautiful 9 week old baby boy. Having done extensive work on herself through interactive self realization workshops, reading, alternative healing and research she found one common denominator with people who were adopted or who grew up in a blended family where one biological parent was not present: Abandonment and worthiness issues could overpower one’s life to the point where they get lost in those feelings. Luckily for her child and children of the world she looked to her faith and beliefs to explain adoption that is empowering, full of self love and recognition of the soul’s choice on how to come into this world and the journey it needs to follow to get there.
