Teachers today are more than just classroom educators. My role involves data analysis, customized content and curriculum development, family advocacy, working for the best interests of resettled refugee families, and managing the annual educational progress of more than 25 students.My position requires precise time management skills, organizational excellence, and flexibility to meet the constantly evolving needs of the local student population. Communication and a positive attitude toward a large complex education system are important attributes that I offer.I am a successful teacher because I am able to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the classroom and administration. I have the ability to pivot in new directions for the benefit of the student and his or her family.

Founding member of the original educational specialists team responsible for opening the first virtual charter school in Idaho. Provided educational guidance for families K-2. Mentored and coached teachers supporting close to 300 students and their families. Participated in hiring teachers, writing employee/educator handbook and facilitated new teacher training sessions.
