Glaser Musicworks is a full service event production company specializing in the Jewish marketplace. Full spectrum involvement includes brainstorming, goal setting, coordinating vendors, controlling expenses, payroll and post event follow-up. Among the national events Glaser Musicworks has coordinated are The American Jewish Song Festival, Taste of Kosher LA, Jewish Star, Orange County Chanukah Spectaculars, Tribute Concerts for the Orthodox Union and Sam Glaser concerts in over fifty cities per year.

Wherehouse was a music and video retailer with 300+ stores west of the Rockies. As Director of Product Marketing, I negotiated over 10 million in cooperative advertising. Working closely with the music buyers and executive management, we developed advertising events and in-store programs and solicited the distribution companies representing the music labels for advertising funds. Inter-department coordination and communication of weekly merchandising checklist was handled through my department. I also executed all facets of high-profile artist in-store events.

Reporting to the AVP of Store Operations, I analyzed financial data to project and prepare budgets for store revenues and payroll. Any new programs involving the stores and payroll had to go through our department. We analyzed the data and made recommendations to Executive management.

Reporting to the VP of Finance and Accounting, I created computer models for internal control and forecasting. I met with department heads throughout corporate to develop annual budgets. Developed all operating, cash flow and capital budgets. Responsible for primary financial reporting and forecasting.

Forecasted and reported expenses and overhead for a division with $260 million in sales. Created computer models for financial reporting, planning and analysis. Worked at TRW part time while pursuing undergraduate degree and full time while pursuing my MBA. I worked my way through college and TRW generously sponsored my education.
