Millennium served a national client base, working with Boards of Directors and executive staff in nonprofit organizations, trade and professional associations, and foundations. Focus was on strategy, organizational change, and the uses of communications to strengthen and grow organizations. Sharp is a skilled facilitator and strategist. She worked with clients in times of leadership transition, or significant change in organizational vision and ambition. Today, she applies this skill and knowledge set as a board member and volunteer strategy advisor, with principal interests in Portland Maine area and Casco Bay's islands.

Elected outside (non-employee) Director of this international development consulting firm, headquartered in Bethesda Maryland. Chairman of Governance and Nominations Committee of the Board, with focus on building a Board of Directors to support DAI's growth to the global development company it is today. DAI tackles fundamental social and economic development problems caused by inefficient markets, ineffective governance, and instability. Works with a wide range of clients, including national and local governments, bilateral and multilateral donors, private corporations, and philanthropies, and has managed and led projects in more than 150 countries around the world.
