As a system director, our team supported physician and APP recruitment for our 7 state, 52 hospital footprint. Providence is the third largest not-for-profit health system in the U.S. and the 2nd largest employed provider system in the nation, ranked as a Fortune 500 company. Our team successfully recruited over 1200 physician, PA, and NP providers per year. Providence employs more than 100,000 caregivers serving in a diverse range of ministries from birth to end of life, including acute care, physician clinics, long-term and assisted living, palliative and hospice care, home health, supportive housing and education. The system operates 51 hospitals, over 800 physician clinics, 22 long-term care facilities, 19 hospice and home health programs and 693 supportive housing units in 14 locations. Our health plan serves our caregivers and other large employer groups covering 390,000 members.
