Performance Learning Concepts offers energetic, interactive programs on leadership, team-building, creativity, presentation literacy, brand storytelling, music and the arts. I contributed to this mission by: Leading and developing programs that blend traditional and cutting-edge communication strategies to increase organizational equity and inclusion, effectiveness, productivity, and cohesion. Clients range from universities like Stanford to large corporations like Nissan North America.

Adhering to the university motto of "Seek Truth, Foster Originality, and Live up to the Name of a Teacher," ECNU has made enormous achievements in talent-training, scientific research, community service and international exchanges. In so doing, it has significantly contributed to the development of Chinese basic education and teacher training, and the advancement of economics, sciences and society, both locally and nationally.While there I: taught technology-based courses in communication to native Chinese high-school and undergraduate students; managed and mentored teaching assistants; lectured to the University community about my research; attended faculty meetings; and performed University service.

Minerva ensures the most exceptional students in the world fulfill their extraordinary potential. I contributed to this mission by: teaching students how to think, not what to think, via interactive multimodal communication courses on the proprietary Active Learning Forum; mentoring and motivating undergraduate students; assessing learning outcomes; developing curriculum; working with software development team to create new tools to facilitate course development; expanding my scholarly research portfolio; serving on academic committees; writing editorials for popular publications; presenting at industry and academic conferences; and responding to media inquiries and requests.

Multidisciplinary and international in scope, focused and practical in application, USC Annenberg scholars are defining the nation's and the world's entertainment, media and technology industries for the 21st century and beyond.I did this by: creating and teaching project-based, tech-driven, rhetorically-centered communication courses that show students how to think, type and talk so they can be understood; serving on strategically important University Committees; recruiting, managing and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students; publishing and promoting book manuscripts, academic articles, and editorials; public speaking at industry and academic conferences; and responding to media inquiries and requests.

The Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America (CSREA) supports and generates rigorous and accessible research, performance, art and scholarship in the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences on a broad range of issues pertaining to race and ethnicity in America. While there I: supported the Center’s research efforts and oversaw the generation of outputs; furthered personal scholarly research agenda in communication and diversity; cultivated relationships among Brown faculty and experts in related fields; engaged with stakeholders in broader research and policy circles; planned and executed internal and external meetings and events; contributed to Center’s publications, grant writing and research management initiatives; coordinated public-facing communications using advanced social media skills and provided teaching and lecturing support as needed.

The mission of California State University, Fullerton’s Department of Human Communication is to provide students with an understanding of communication processes in a culturally diverse society. Our vision is to train good men and women speaking well to solve communication problems by studying the ways in which messages link participants during transactions. I contributed to this mission by: customizing and teaching Human Communication Theory Classes on ground and online; furthering the department's scholarly research program in rhetorical communication; advising undergraduate and graduate students; and engaging in program, department, school-level and university service.

Long Beach City College promotes equitable student learning and achievement, academic excellence, and workforce development by delivering high quality educational programs and support services to our diverse communities.While there I provided individual instruction in digital literacy, ran basic skills and GED preparation tutorials, worked directly with instructional team and department chair on forward planning and distance learning initiatives.

The USC Annenberg PhD program is at the scholarly forefront of the communication revolution. Graduates focus on advancing knowledge in the field and contributing to the success of public and private sector enterprises ranging from universities to media and entertainment industries to governmental and non-governmental organizations.While there I: earned my doctorate in communication; wrote an award-winning dissertation; created and taught undergraduate courses in rhetorical and political studies; worked as a research assistant for tenured and tenure-track professors; honed my critical communication skills; engaged self-directedness; created a professional identity; developed a collegial and professional network; presented my research at professional conferences; and upheld a high standard of academic integrity.

I supported the company's mission by: expanding staff development for all professional and support personnel; developing and implementing internal communication policies; assuming special assignments from Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director to develop key account reporting, a future-focused and intimate understanding of consumers, trends affecting brands, and ethos of FutureBrand’s internal brand.

Catalyst examines today's work environments and employees' experiences within them, and by doing so reveals gaps in women's and men's experiences at work. We document the representation of women in companies' leadership and explore the barriers and root causes of gender gaps. We identify and provide solutions to overcoming these barriers and creating equitable workplaces in which all talent can thrive. I contributed to this mission by: assisting in the growth of educational programming and curriculum development in “Women in Leadership,” “LGBTQI” and “Women of Color/Visible Minorities” areas; working with VP of Communications to coordinate publicity, marketing, promotion and fact checking for communications campaigns and to recruit new corporate partners/sponsors.
