The City of Denver's Office of Financial Empowerment & Protection is a national leader in the financial empowerment movement. As a direct arm of the Mayor's Office, I managed strategic communications and marketing for all programs under OFEP (Bank On Denver, Financial Empowerment Centers (FEC), Consumer Financial Protection Division (CFPD), Innovation Hub and Regional Economic Mobility Network). As the Office's brand ambassador and communications PR pro, I led initiatives and outreach efforts with internal and external stakeholders while leading Bank On Denver, a national program model that partners with financial institutions to offer safe, affordable and accessible financial services products for the unbanked and underbanked in the Denver community.

Led the strategic planning and execution of CoBiz Financial’s multi-million dollar corporate social responsibility platform and community philanthropic projects across business lines in Arizona and Colorado while ensuring highest ROI possible while promoting brand equity through specialized, multi-faceted, integrated internal and external communications/marketing strategies and extensive project management. Managed and successfully ran all aspects of highly-recognized community affairs philanthropic arms: corporate foundation management and specialized CSR programming supporting Arizona and Colorado nonprofits. Subject matter expert; created best practices with internal and external stakeholders in community engagement, nonprofits, grant making, employee board service matching, employee engagement and volunteerism. Led the company as a respected corporate communicator team member and PR brand ambassador.

Development, implementation and execution of a comprehensive multi-million dollar annual fundraising plan for individual and major donor giving, corporate support, foundation support, special event sponsorship and government funding that included extensive grant writing and strategic community relationship building. Supervisor to Event Coordinator.

Managed corporate and individual donor development and sales for the Foundation's large, external-facing, signature events and other 3rd party promotions with generated annual revenue exceeding $3.5 million, while managing corporate partner relationships and facilitating important partner programmatic components. Developed and implemented cause-related marketing proposals, programs, services and grants, including the design and management of sponsor benefit programs, marketing, collateral, signage, and e-communication strategies. Proudly served as a member of The Children’s Hospital’s Qualified Bilingual Staff.

Led client services relationship management for an elite team of Financial Advisors with high-net-worth portfolios serving hundreds of households with multi-million dollar portfolios. Delivered and executed on outstanding client service, while educating clients on Merrill Lynch products and services. Served as an excellent client service manager with extensive problem solving and decision making skills. Was responsible for educating and training clients on all of Merrill Lynch's financial and educational offerings including existing/emerging financial products and services ranging from mortgages and investments to banking services.

Represented the Denver Broncos Football Club at all home games, community/event outreach (local, state, regional, national and international) as a valued brand ambassador.
