📖 Get your FREE Guide to EXCEL in Finance-Supply Chain Planning at https://usmsupplychain.com/must-know-excel-functions/WHAT I DO:🎯 📈 💰 🚚 📦 I help fast-growing CPG (consumer packaged goods) companies to achieve greater EBITDA, revenues, lower cost, and improve cash flows for profitable growth, through a USM Supply Chain. USM stands for Unstoppable, Scalable, Mindful Supply Chain. The focus is on Integrated Business Planning/ IBP (the most advanced phase of S&OP) and execution. My expertise is bringing finance and supply chain/ operations together.I have had the highest success rates with CPG companies in food and beauty that are growing very fast, and their supply chain cannot support such a fast growth. This growth can be organic or by acquisition of new companies or brands.Key pain points that I address:* Supply chain disruptions; material shortages* Late customer deliveries* Lost sales* High raw material, packaging, and shipping costs* Too much or too little inventory* Aged & Expired productsCOMPANIES AND BRANDS I HAVE HELPED: 🏆 Alcoa 🏆 Cummins 🏆 Hershey Salty Snacks 🏆 Skinny Pop🏆 Lindt Chocolates🏆 Coty🏆 CovergirlTESTIMONIALS:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Marcia is a highly skilled professional in Supply Chain, her support has been key to overcoming critical aspects of our Procurement Operation. We worked together developing processes and tools, and we were able to automate complex processes, transforming them through easy-to-operate tools that have given us accurate and reliable results. Her commitment to our Company was remarkable. Jose Antonio Laparte, Sr. Procurement Manager at the Hershey Company⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Marcia brought a high level of expertise and diligence to our project at Lindt, helping to define and validate requirements for our supply-chain planning project. I would highly recommend Marcia for other supply chain projects, especially for CPG or other manufacturing clients. John Vaughn, former IT Business Analyst at Lindt ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I worked with Marcia at Cummins within the Indirect Purchasing department for over 4 years. In that time period I was able to witness Marcia's unprecedented work ethics. She typically sought out the more challenging sourcing projects and would work tirelessly until the project was completed. Is your CPG experiencing exponential growth, either organically or by acquisition? If you have issues in meeting your customers’ demand or in shipping or delivering on time, these are signs that your sales have outgrown your supply chain and you are at risk of losing millions in revenues and having huge costs in inventory. This is where I come in.WHAT I DO:🎯 📈 💰 🚚 📦 I help fast-growing CPG companies to achieve greater EBITDA, revenues, lower cost, and improve cash flows through a USM Supply Chain. USM stands for Unstoppable, Scalable, Mindful Supply Chain. I follow a 5-step process:STEP 1—Process Mapping:I start with mapping the end-to-end finance supply chain planning process, to identify gaps, and measure current metric levels by adopting DMAIC and Lean Six Sigma.STEP 2—Process Redesign and New Processes:I align financial and supply chain metrics through the SCOR model, eliminate waste, minimize risk, and streamline processes BEFORE applying automation. A key area is inventory management and optimization. STEP 3—Automation with Macros in Excel and Robotics Process Automation (RPA):I build macros in Excel that creates automation to significantly shorten the time to compile information from multiple sources, including SAP and Oracle, minimizing the manual input.I also use RPA to eliminate high volume, repetitive tasks.
