I'm a Canadian/Australian learning and technology specialist with 15+ years of experience in education/L&D. After teaching ESL (Bangkok), high school English and Psychology (Melbourne), and GED Prep (Halifax), I shifted to instructional design. At Smartfirm I architected learning experiences for clients in consulting/tax/audit, and I now create digital instructional solutions for New Brunswick’s Dept of Education and Early Childhood Development. I’ve designed learning experiences/training programs for clients in both defence and healthcare, and I also led the design of Dartmouth Learning Network’s eLearning platform, which was awarded an honourable mention by ABC Life Literacy Canada in 2018. In addition to having led the design of bespoke web solutions for learning, I’m highly proficient with various eLearning authoring tools and LMSs, including Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Brightspace, Canvas, and Blackboard. I hold a Master of Educational Technology, a Graduate Certificate in Adult Education, a Professional Certificate in eLearning, a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English Literature.
