In particular, responsible for the overall implementation of Cash and Vouchers modalities in three municipalities of the Department. Identification of all the necessary documents to start a Trust Fund sponsored by the Italian Government; support in the drafting of the Annual Operating Plan for the execution of the Trust Fund; elaboration of micro assessments required for the implementation of a Cash&Voucher intervention in two departments of the Country (Chuquisaca and Tarija); design a beneficiary assessment diagnosis to identify the beneficiaries among those who suffer from food insecurity in the department of Pando to be included in the cash beneficiaries` list; assist the Pando Field Monitor in finalizing the cash distribution lists and its upload into the SCOPE (System for Cash Operations) System; assist in the process of cash distribution; identification and selection of voucher projects in Pando; document the results of the initiative and follow-up; oversee the other components of the WFP Country Program, namely Support to the National School Feeding Programme to Promote Universal Primary Education (component 1 of the CP), and Assistance to Pregnant Women and Nursing Mothers to Improve Maternal health (Component 2 of the CP)

Bolivia

I was recruited as UN Fellow, to work at the Italian Cooperation Agency. There, I provided full coverage to the needs of Italian NGOs in the country through the Coordination of the Italian NGOs in Bolivia – COIBO Platform, as well as with the individual NGOs; I coordinated the work of the Italian Cooperation with multilateral agencies, such as UN specialized agencies and development banks; I assisted the World Food Programme office in Bolivia in the drafting of the Programme “Food Assistance to Vulnerable People in the Departments of Pando, Chuquisaca and Tarija”, to be implemented by the WFP in 2015 with direct multi-bilateral funding from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; I monitored the implementation of Phase III of the WFP Country Programme in the Department of Chuquisaca, funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; I supported project cycle management activities, with particular emphasis on monitoring and evaluation of new, ongoing and/or concluded bilateral projects financed by the Italian Cooperation in Bolivia and Peru; I participated to technical cooperation and development groups (water and sanitation group, coordination with NGOs group, justice and human rights group); I elaborated strategic studies and analytical reports regarding matters of development cooperation; presented such documents before the GRUS, the Italian Cooperation, and the Bolivian Government; I assisted the negotiation and signing of various bilateral and trilateral agreements, such as the Social Healthcare Programme, the Plant Genetic Resources Programme and the Cohoni Cultural Programme of Technical Assistance.

Winnipeg, Canada

I was responsible for the organization, budget planning and coordination of the first International Study Tour on Community Economic Development and Poverty Reduction that took place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, between October 21-25 2013. International professionals coming from different areas of specialization visited a number of experiences that aim at tackling the problem of urban poverty in the Winnipeg area through alternative means of economic development, such as social economy and community development. I handled donor and inter-agencies relations, in cooperation with the University of Winnipeg and University of Manitoba, the Manitoba Government, the Canadian Center for Policy Alternatives (CCPA), the Canadian Community Economic Development Network (CCEDNET), the Indigenous Organization Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre, and others.I carried out the follow-up and co-planned the next activities of the Laboratory.More information on the Winnipeg International Laboratory of Human Development can be found at http://www.kipuniversitas.org/

Conchagua, El Salvador

I provided strategic assistance for the creation and development of the Local Economic Development Agency (ADEL La Unión, part of the international network ILS LEDA, created in the framework of the UN Millennium Platform), sponsored by the ART Programme of UNDP in the Departments of La Unión, Republic of El Salvador; I cooperated with the CDMYPE (Centro para el Desarrollo de la Micro y Pequeña Empresa) of ADEL Morazán and ADEL La Unión in the drafting and editing of projects which main objective is the creation of micro and small business enterprises; I analyzed and mapped the financial situation of the Department of La Unión and provide strategic suggestions for its economic expansion; I participated in meetings and conferences with representatives of agencies that operate in the framework of international cooperation (such as the IADB, the European Union, USAID, AECID and UNDP); I worked in close cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of El Salvador for the strategic planning of the work of ADEL La Unión.

San Vito De Coto Brus, Costa Rica

- Facilitated the implementation of a project (“Integral Healthcare for Migrant Indigenous Population”) coordinated jointly with ECLAC, UNICEF, IOM and PAHO, geared towards improving the living conditions for both the permanent and the migrant indigenous population Ngobe-Buglé; - Monitored the development of small rural enterprises in local communities; - Provided information about health and human rights among the indigenous community as well as in the other poor local communities, focusing on women’s empowerment and on the analysis of the recently approved Law Against Domestic Violence.
