About Marcie Johnson

I graduated from the University of Iowa with my PhD in clinical psychology in August 2022. My research interests are in healthy aging, cognitive aging, and psychological well-being. I also have a recent interest in caregiver well-being and community outreach. Clinically, I am trained in various evidence based interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, ACT, motivational interviewing, behavioral activation, and prolonged exposure, etc. In addition, I have a specialization in psychological and neuropsychological assessment. I am working toward a career that strikes a balance between research and clinical opportunities.
