As Director of Communications & Administration, I am responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of the integrated marketing, public relations, and strategic communications program, as well as event planning and business administration for the organization. As Research Associate, I served as project manager for short-term and long-term research consulting projects with clients including state and local governments and foundations; Assisted in the preparation of key project proposals and business reports; Researched, compiled and analyzed data to be used for policy recommendations by various research designs and statistical techniques; Planned, designed and delivered a range of presentations to diverse audience in multiple forums; and, facilitated public awareness meetings for state agencies. I also operated as business administrator for the organization, handling accounting, purchasing and collections functions.
