I implemented and monitored the strategy of getting out of the crisis, increasing efficiency and further expansion. I was directly responsible for the area of finance (accounting, controlling, treasury, debt collection), as well as for other support functions, such as: HR, legal services, IT, administration, purchases. Working as the major business partner to the CEO, I reported directly to the shareholders and their representatives in the supervisory body. My responsibilities included establishing the financial policy of the ENERGA Group (for obtaining financing and liquidity management), managing financial risk, managing the process of preparation and distribution of the statutory and management information, implementing centralized tax policy, as well as participating in key projects (acquisition and optimization) and maintaining relationships with investors and stock market analysts. The group's annual revenue oscillated around PLN 2 billion. The group employed approximately 1,500 people. The parent company was listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Currently, the company does not exist – in 2008 it merged with its subsidiary (Asseco Poland SA). As part of my duties, I actively supported communication with capital market participants, had active role in merger and acquisition projects and internal reorganization processes within the group.
