L1 Department

Radio Frequency SW Department- leading C/C++ development teams (developers, integrators/testers) - 1 to 3 teams, 10 people to 20 each- being responsible and accountable for e2e delivery of one of Radio Module software components (design, planning, implementation, delivery and maintenace)- handling escalations- weekend customer support and faults processing coordination- line management of the team

· Local manager of team of 20-30 engineers including testers, developers, DevOps, Business Analysts· Release manager for the project· Testing banking application and its integration with various markets (Bloomberg, Tradeweb, Nasdaq etc.)and various downstream systems (DROIT, Murex)· Defining and reviewing test scopes for tested functionalities· Monitoring and reporting status of test activities· Running planning meetings with stakeholders and adjusting plans to current team’s capacity· Test cases creation based on requirements provided by business users· Functional, integration and regression testing

Worked for Nokia Siemens Networks in two projects/assignments.1. Release Manager and Team Leader • Project: MultiVendor Integration • 9 months• Leading the team of developers and testers in Poland• Creating and introducing release process (including planning of development and test cycles) adjusted to existing project and delivery plan• Improving quality and schedule of deliverables• Cooperating with project and program management based in US• Coordinating work of team based in Wroclaw with teams in India and Finland• Managing team's book of work2. Integration and Verification Engineer • Project: Application Server 2.0 • 12 months• Planning and developing test cycles (Agile/SCRUM)• Testing of Application Server developed internally (embedded software) in Open Cloud platform (Test Driven Development, black box testing, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, system testing, performance and stress testing, continuous integration)• Writing and developing tests and test scripts (IPSL, basic scripts in powershell)• Configuring Telesys routing and load balancing (SS7 network protocols)

• Functional and regression testing of Mobile Switching Centers and Service Transfer Points (embedded software) on real network elements• Reproducing issues raised by customers and testing corrections• Preparing Configuration Management Database including all versions of software and patches installed on customers' side• Developing and writing test cases and test scripts• Automating test environment (IPSL - internal NSN's tool used to simulate various mobile network elements and SS7 communication between them)

Worked for Nokia Siemens Networks for 14 months as contractor and then got offer to become permanent NSN employee. Responsibilities as above.

IPTV network maintenance, system monitoring, reporting faults, reporting network state. This job/internship was related to my Master Thesis: "Services Management in IPTV"

PC software and hardware troubleshooting
