Marc's executive leadership spans legislative & regulatory advocacy, labor relations, marketing communications and workforce development. He has initiated programs leading to successful careers for youth just entering the workforce, as well as for mid-career and seasoned professionals alike in the fields of commercial property management, facility engineering and operations, and conservation and environmental sustainability.Marc currently chairs the Board of Directors for Conservation Corps North Bay, which helps at-risk youth accomplish their career goals and strengthen communities via job training programs that protect the environment. Marc also serves as Management Trustee for the Stationary Engineers IUOE Local 39 Apprenticeship Training Trust, providing “best in class” training for public and private sector facility engineers.Marc initiated the BOMA-SF Foundation to expand and diversify commercial real estate's workforce. The entity is now the Commercial Real Estate Alliance for Tomorrow's Employees.Marc is Chair Emeritus of the Board of Governors of The City Club of San Francisco, and was a Governor of The City Club Foundation that provided college scholarships to high-school youth.Marc has led trade associations throughout his career. Most recently he led Building Owners and Managers Association of San Francisco, providing advocacy and professional development programs to commercial property owners, managers and service providers. He co-founded BOMA California to improve the industry’s statewide success.Prior to joining BOMA San Francisco, Marc worked for Washington, D.C.- based BOMA International, where he served as Manager of Governmental Affairs and Editor of the Association’s monthly publication. He was also Washington-area editor for Buildings Magazine, a national trade publication.Marc served on BOMA International's Executive Committee and is past president of BOMA International's Association Executives Council. He served on the Washington, D.C. based Board of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE); was a member of the Leadership Council of the Northern California Network of ASAE and was an officer of the Northern California Society of Association Executives.
