Professional Profile: As a seasoned business model development professional, strategist, and an inspiring and influential leader of high-performing teams, I serve God to increase the scale and impact of organizations. I have a proven track record of conceiving and executing competitive and disruptive initiatives that drive strategic partnerships, fundraising success, and tangible, life-changing results.I am a Bolivian Civil Engineer, with international post-graduate degrees: Social Management for Directors (IDB, US); Senior Management of Microfinance Institutions (INCAE, Nicaragua); Microfinance Diploma (Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar); and Project Management (IDEA).In 11 years as a senior manager at Food for the Hungry and, additionally, in another 11 years as CEO of microfinance organizations in Bolivia and Mexico, I have successfully contributed with innovative business models for the sustainable development of the most vulnerable. In this regard, I would like to highlight my following skills and achievements relevant to the position:• Proven ability to conceptualize and establish strategic initiatives that have achieved greater scale and programmatic impact. An example is my recent experience as author, leader and implementer of the business model BOLIVIA con AGUA program, that in 3 years benefited +30K people with water at home, built +90 water systems and invested +USD 5M (fundraising campaigns), involving dozens of public and private companies. In another area, a similar innovative example was the successful recovery of the Sartawi Microfinance Institution, taking it from bankruptcy to a situation of financial health and portfolio quality, based on a business model with improved credit technology and mitigated risks, an experience recognized globally in the book Value Chain Finance, Beyond Microfinance for Rural Entrepreneurs. • Demonstrated exceptional skills in managing people and leaders, resources and processes, which have driven improved results. Under my leadership, Food for the Hungry Bolivia achieved internal positioning of the organization as the Country Office with the best overall results, both in terms of programs, financial-administrative area, and with proper management of the areas of Monitoring, Evaluation and Accountability and Human Resources; and on the other hand, also achieved external national and international positioning with the new business model implemented (UN, IDB, WB, Aliados Coca-Cola, Global Compact, EHP and the private sector).
