Conceived a multimillion-dollar grant initiative that, since 2020, awarded +420 projects, impacting >900 courses. Devised the UMD Teaching Academy, an executive certificate program to promote inclusive and evidence-based teaching practices, increasing faculty engagement in training by 135%. Co-lead the implementation of the UMD strategic plan commitment to reimagine learning and teaching. Co-chair of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) reaccreditation committee. Spearheaded the successful academic implementation of the UMD switch to 100% remote learning in two weeks. Recipient of the President’s Medal in 2020, the highest honor bestowed upon a university community member. Leads a team of 70 full-time staff and >100 students. Launched the first UMD app to increase students’ engagement and expand access to services. Created a unit focused on accessibility universal design to promote the development of inclusive and accessible learning environments. Established an academic analytics unit to evaluate and analyze organizational data for reporting and decision-making. With 150+ metrics from 36 sources, our dashboard offers a comprehensive overview of campus technologies and their impact. Partnered to launch the Public Health Science baccalaureate, a new UMD STEM major focused on solving public health challenges through the lens of scientific inquiry. The program’s enrollment quickly exceeded expectations, and the offering expanded to other campuses. Envisioned and designed the core online offerings for the online Master of Public Health program. Proudly designed and led a dynamic faculty learning community across campus dedicated to advancing blended/flipped learning methodologies. Collectively, we leveraged students' feedback to foster experimentation and innovate our educational practices. Implemented and evaluated new essential technology-based solutions and educational practices that impacted >20 programs and 2,797 students. Saved financial resources and secured significant funding to innovate infrastructures and programs.

𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 | 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 | 𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 | 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨🔸 Department's Assistant Chair from 2010 - 2015 played a vital role in fostering a collaborative and efficient environment that promotes the department's goals and objectives by serving as the primary liaison between faculty, staff, and students, helping to coordinate schedules, manage administrative tasks, and ensure effective communication within the department. Supported the Chair in decision-making processes, assisting with curriculum development, and overseeing departmental budgets. Handled inquiries from external stakeholders, organized departmental events, and supported faculty and staff development initiatives. Built a robust research program in the discipline of cognitive and motor neuroscience with a focus on investigating the developmental processes of neuromechanical variables across the lifespan. Particular interest in understanding the underlying neural mechanisms of individuals with atypical development and learning disabilities. Published dozens of peer-reviewed manuscripts and presented nearly 100 research papers at conferences and professional gatherings. Taught courses and advised and mentored students.
