My interest in investing, asset management and insurance has shaped my young career and fueled my intense pursuit of knowledge.Currently, I'm a candidate for the Master in Finance at IE Business School, prepared to gain a theoretical base and a practical tool set that will allow me to evolve into a proficient investor and asset manager.Finance has been at the forefront of my career from a young age, pushing me into a Bachelor's in Finance at UNITEC and into many books, articles and research papers dealing with the many complexities of markets, strategies and historical lessons.I'm highly interested in the role market cycles play in the structure of an investment framework, financial engineering, value investing and distressed debt.Additionally, I've had a fruitful experience as an insurance broker and risk manager at DE LOS ANDES CORREDURIA (Honduras), where I've served a client base comprised of multinationals and corporations (energy, retail, agro-industrial, textile, logistics), advising over $1B in assets.As a risk manager, I gained a special appreciation for the trust clients bestowed upon me and my firm.My role was paramount in advising and structuring the most efficient insurance package to secure the continuity of their operation and to protect the very assets they acquired through decades of grit, innovation, and persistence.Being used to dealing with high-net-worth clients, corporations and the general insurance and banking industry, I'm looking forward to adding a more varied set of skills and expertise in order to better serve and understand any client that bestows their trust upon me.
