Coordinate with CBCAC staff on conservation plan reviews, permits, and violations. Attend field meetings as necessary to coordinate with CBCAC and the Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections, and Enforcement (DPIE) staff regarding reviews, permits, and to verify the extent of violations. Initiate the mitigation plan processes with violators to bring them into compliance with state and local regulations. Attend CBCA Commission meetings as needed for cases. Provide M-NCPPC portion of CBCA reporting to DPIE for incorporation into the semi-annual state reports for the County’s program.Serve as the Environmental Planning Section’s mandatory referral and clearinghouse coordinator for Special Projects Section staff regarding State, Federal and local government projects, as well as for water and sewer reclassification requests. Duties include assigning mandatory referral and clearinghouse cases to planners within the section. Review staff mandatory referral and clearinghouse memos for completeness and accuracy before they are incorporated into the final staff report for Planning Board. Continue to serve as a reviewer for development cases throughout Prince George’s County with a focus on development plans, natural resource inventories, tree conservation plan applications, landscape plans, and environmental statements to ensure compliance with planning regulations. Prepare technical reports and deliver presentations to the Prince George’s County Planning Board and the Prince George’s County District Council as necessary.
