Procurement Coordinator
Current1. Overseeing the entire procurement process from requisition to purchase order creation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and acting as a company representative while negotiating contracts and supplier prices. 2. Identifying, evaluating, and selecting vendors or suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and other factors. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. 3. Negotiating terms and pricing with vendors to secure favorable contracts and pricing agreements. Analyzing proposals and making recommendations for vendor selection. 4. Generating purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and approvals are obtained plus monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs. 5. Reviewing and managing contracts with vendors to ensure compliance with terms and conditions and identifying opportunities for cost savings or improvement. 6. Analyzing procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for process improvement. Generating reports and providing insights to management to support decision-making. 7. Collaborating with various departments such as finance, operations, and logistics to ensure alignment of procurement activities with organizational goals and objectives. 8. Identifying opportunities for continues improvement and suggesting the best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall procurement performance to the managers/supervisors. 9. Always coordinate with the line managers and supervisors for any ad hoc responsibilities.
