Marc H. Kallish is a Partner in the Litigation Practice Group and his areas of focus include: Complex Disputes, Employment Litigation, Class Actions, Products Liability, Catastrophic and Wrongful Death Litigation, Antitrust, Railroad Law and Securities Litigation.His experience includes pretrial and trial work on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of State and Federal matters, including breach of contract, business torts, antitrust, class action, securities litigation, employment law, professional negligence, transportation law, premise liability and catastrophic and wrongful death litigation. Marc has represented clients in mediation and arbitration and has appeared before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (formerly NASD). He also has presented and argued several briefs before the Illinois Appellate Court.Marc has developed a unique niche in taking over and turning around high-dollar, high-exposure litigation. He consults for and often represents insurance companies and corporate clients, helping them understand the strategic implications of ongoing litigation and whether options or actions are available or have been overlooked. His work and recommendations have resulted in millions of dollars in savings for clients. In some instances based on this insight, companies have settled early or litigated more aggressively by pursuing new, previously unassserted claims, joining third-parties and other activities.
