During this role, I spearheaded top-performing team consisted of six system engineers to manage design-in of LUXEON Rebel LED into the Apple Cinema Display (24 inch). I determined root cause of major color variation and rolled-out fix two months before mass production release of the Apple Cinema Display (24 inch).A few of noteworthy contributions in this tenure include:• Created first of kind 46” edge-lit backlight prototype within six weeks after starting this role.• Developed LED light source for the iMac all-in-one computers (21.5 and 27 inches) and three Cinema Display monitor models (24 and 27 inches).• Spearheaded program at Lumileds using in-depth understanding of both technical and business requirements.• Planned and designed manufacturable solution to satisfy specifications of display customers.
