Designs, plans and oversees installation and maintenance of wireless radio communications systems, including radio propagation modeling and prediction, microwave path analysis, interference analysis, frequency coordination, cell site equipment layout, parameter definition and ancillary equipment. As an RF Engineer, I am currently responsible for one-hundred sixty cell sites spanning four counties within the Orlando Market. I am the Market Special Event Coverage POC, Test Equipment Management POC and KPI, Translations and Datafil POC. In day to day operations, I collect and post-process RF field/system data to integrate new sites, troubleshoot drop-call and block call problem areas, and perform in-building coverage service analysis to determine appropriate solutions. I also collect, process, and analyze CW measurements for new site candidate evaluations. This includes the setup and operation of CW transmitters and receivers as well as verification of site contracts and ensuring plans are in place for site testing. I perform site audits (determine antenna azimuths, down-tilts, and antenna types, etc.) and utilize various databases to respond to trouble tickets. I am highly proficient in the use of KPI metric reporting platforms. I have advanced knowledge of PlanetEV and Mapinfo and their uses in network design, optimization, planning and data processing. Responsible for coordination of all market drive tests and coverage surveys for one full-time employee and three contractors. Considered an expert in the operation of the following drive test equipment and post processing software, Agilent, Invex, Willtech, Interpreter, WindCatcher, Actix, and several others.
