About Marc Knapp

My experience in the wireless industry has been centered on the reliable operation and performance of complex communication networks. All aspects of performance, design, implementation and management of these networks have been my focus during my career. This includes military RF communication networks, wireless operator RF networks as well as third party distributed antenna system (DAS) networks.I have more than 27 years of radio frequency, operational and engineering experience with both military and commercial applications. After 8 years in the Air Force deploying tactical satellite communication links, Marc joined Sprint as an RF Engineer until early 2012 when he left Sprint to join Connectivity Wireless Solutions as a Principal RF Engineer, rapidly moving through the management ranks to Director of Engineering. In late 2014, along with three partners, Marc co-founded Notora, LLC, a dedicated DAS and Small Cell RF engineering firm. Very quickly, Notora became the most trusted name in high quality RF engineering services in the space. Prior to Notora and Connectivity Wireless, Mr. Knapp held both macro and in-building RF engineering positions with a major wireless carrier and has also held in-building test engineering positions with industry leading test and measurement firms. Mr. Knapp has over 15 years of in-building RF engineering design experience ranging from small scale repeater solutions to campus-wide solutions including both iDAS and oDAS components. Mr. Knapp is an eight year U.S. Air Force and Operation Allied Force and then Operation Enduring Freedom veteran where he served as an active duty Air Combat Command, Combat Communications, Tactical Satellite and Wideband Communications Craftsman. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. Marc was the lead instructor of Connectivity's DAS Bootcamp at numerous BICSI and ACUTA conferences nationwide and has been featured on the Connectivity Wireless Solutions website as the narrator of the DAS Case Study: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfs3UJA7Ty4During Marc's tenure as Co-Founder & VP of Sales for Notora, he's spoken at over 40 industry training events, sat on numerous town hall panels and provided countless one-on-one consultations to Notora clients on the best solution for their communications needs.
