Led the company’s procurement & global supply chain for all business units of the company (annual spend of 1.1 Billion dollars, over 6,000 suppliers worldwide). Led the departments of transportation & logistics (including import/export), capital expenditures and equipment sourcing reviews (130-400 M per year). Managed all real estate matters (facility management, space optimization, construction, renovation, disposition and leasing) for a portfolio of 196 business units in 3 countries (7.6 million square feet of office and industrial sites). Negotiated all corporate IT contracts as well as environment and energy (hedging). Was an active member of the executive manufacturing improvement committee. Key achievements: • Achieved over 40M in cost savings & cost avoidance in first year, from annual objective of 15M• Implemented a management by objectives process. • Implemented zero based budgeting for real estate facilities scheduled for disposal• Improved spend compliancy from under 25 percent to over 90 percent in all main commodities, direct materials, MRO, logistics and others). • Established a network of global suppliers. Implemented numerous agreements with new suppliers worldwide for key products, in order to reduce costs and dependency on local suppliers.• Created and implemented a GEMP (Global Energy Management Program) for all business units which reduced energy consumption and carbon emission by over 25% in 4 years. • Established standards for capital expenditures submission & approval in order to reduce cost and risk. • Completed over 30 major real estate projects (site consolidation, relocations & manufacturing sites). • Developed an 8 step procurement process (7 steps + money left on the table)
