Role is audit and advisory based, managing a portfolio of ten clients across multiple industries. Includes managing annual audit and half-year review of listed company audit files and financial statements for reporting to ASX in accordance with IFRS and Corporations Act. In addition, this also includes managing the preparation of private company quarterly management accounts as well as annual financial statements, under both general and special purpose financial frameworks, for external review. Client Portfolio includes:- ASX listed entities and privately owned companies- National FMCGs ($200m - $300m revenue)- International Manufacturers ($50m revenue)- National / International Financial Services ($10m - $100m revenue)

Having started with CLB as a graduate under a Chartered Accountancy training contract I progressed through the junior ranks to become a senior in charge across multiple engagements. My client portfolio as a senior included private and listed entities with annual revenues from £5m to £50m, across industries including construction, IT, manufacturing and FMCG. The role encompassed the planning, fieldwork and completion of audit assignments as well as the preparation of statutory accounts from trial balance.Responsibilities also covered the preparation of monthly management accounts, including production of balance sheet and P&L statements as well as the preparation of budgets and forecasts, typically for a 12 month period. Project specific roles included a team support within lead advisor corporate disposals - researching and approaching potential buyers, managing information flows as well as documenting and communicating project status to ensure delivery against client expectations. Involvement in planning and the preparation of information memoranda and due diligence reports as well as independently developing a working capital / investment appraisal modelling tool bespoke to client requirements.

Accountable for managing and developing two category ranges (50+ SKU’s) within the frozen foods division, delivering annual turnover exceeding £10m measurable against KPI’s.Responsibilities:- Building and managing key supplier relationships from SME’s to multinationals- Coordinating NPD and tender processes as well as negotiating prices and terms & conditions of supply - Supporting Category Director with sales & profit margin analyses, using key systems and tools (including customer loyalty databases) to direct commercial decision making and strategic initiatives- Working closely with external analysts as category ‘champion’, reporting accurate and concise market / product data and consumer insight to support senior buyers’ operational strategy and develop a value-added, consumer focussed portfolio mix- Project management across internal departments, business partners and suppliers to deliver packaging change across 50+ SKU’s- Initiated and coordinated national advertising campaigns to drive consumer interest and product awareness.
