LOOKS | MATTER | LAST! That is the driving force behind both MMD and DenimX® in Maastricht, the Netherlands. My name is Marc Meijers and I have a passion for good looking products that are sustainable and make sense. Our main focus area's are:➤ Sustainability and circular economy ➤ New materials (composites, bioplastics and more)➤ LED-lighting fixtures➤ Housing of medical devices, equipment and machinery➤ 3D Printing technologyBesides creating well designed products for your company we have also developed a thrilling composite material of our own. It's called DenimX® and consists of discarded jeans, combined with a biobased plastic. Moreover we can use many different waste streams in order to upcycle those materials that otherwise would be used for landfill or incinerated. We've lined up the supply and production chain and are able to produce in large volumes. After its second life we can re-use the source materials, thus making our process circular. My personal talents lie in the creation of balance between design (emotion) and technology (ratio) and supervising rather complex processes with lots of different stakeholders and angles.Actual projects that I work on relate to bags, suitcases, furniture, LED lighting, packaging machines, acoustic panels and more.
