Montages AG is working since 1997 on a Domain Specific Languages (DSLs) design and implementation framework similar to Microsoft's Software Factories, but based on MDA standards. We use Executable UML as backend of the system and are working on prototypes showing the convergence of several technologies (XML/MOF, MDA/DSLs, transformational/execution semantics), as well as our concrete, proprietary method to make XML executable.

Development of a generic UML/MDA based service-oriented architecture and IDE. Architecture design, embedding of EMF, MOF, Eclipse, code generators and other new Java Technologies, design and use of UML profiles to enter specifications, implementation of A4Ms patents-protected features, extraction of system parts that can be made available under an open source license.
