Wrote a market research report and presented it to the manager. Translated a large volume of interview transcripts, market research reports, and PowerPoint presentations from Chinese to English.

Identified, profiled, and distributed current and backlogged attorney-client correspondence, court documents, code enforcement documents, and attorney research, as well as scanned and entered all documents into a database. Updated the firm’s legal library with the most current additions to the complete Annotated California Codes. Assisted attorneys and legal secretaries with court filings, created document templates and excel sheets, prepared documents for meetings and presentations, and reorganized and standardized older files for ease of access.

Singapore

Worked with the Small and Medium Enterprises committee to research potential government solutions to the problem that the majority of SMEs in Singapore had insufficient access to capital because banks were refusing to lend to them. Researched official macroeconomic data on SME access to finance in China, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Indonesia to create an extensive PowerPoint presentation addressing the issue and recommending solutions for Singapore. At the end of the internship, presented research to the CEO, CFO, and Research Advisor in a formal meeting setting.
