• Manage and review of various required filings including; Annual, Quarterly, and combined Statutory statements. In addition, IEE, AHPEE, State pages, NY Supplement.
• Act as liaison to state examiners on site for the conclusion of various state exams; Delaware, New Jersey, and Arizona.
• Manage and review of the Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A).
• Manage and review the preparation of the Audited Financial Statement.
• Work in support of the goals and responsibilities of the unit such as staff development, technical STAT accounting issues, STAT/GAAP internal reporting, and other functions in the department.
• Act as liaison to the Internal Audit team to maintain quarterly Processing for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance as well as Model Audit Rule.

• Responsible for the preparation and review of various required filings including; Annual, Quarterly, and combined statements. In addition, Insurance Expense Exhibit (IEE), electronic filing.
• Monthly GL processing of premium & loss activity and reconcile balance sheet and income accounts.
• Monthly processing of pooling/reinsurance activity to reinsurance ledger.
• Monthly processing and accounting for NJSI Investments.
• Review, book and reimburse all chargeback expenses due to affiliate OneBeacon on a monthly basis.
• Calculate, maintain, and book monthly Fixed Asset depreciation.

• Trained and supervised two to three staff accountants in the completion of the quarterly and annual statements for several Chubb companies.
• Additional responsibilities included oversight and reconciliation of Fixed Assets system reports, completion of the Chubb Custom IBNR worksheets/analysis, Annual Statement Page 15’s and related Premium/Loss Analysis by.
• Responsible for the Review and verification of the 2000 A.M. Best Galleys.
• Responded to inquires from state insurance departments resulted from the review of the quarterly and annual statements.
• Prepared financial statement projections for various companies in order to meet licensing requirements.
• Ensures that adjustments and changes have correctly impacted all reports and performs internal and external balancing functions ensuring that all necessary adjustments have been input into the Accounting Global.
