Moving to B2C, I was responsible for Mintel’s Home Retail team, leading research across a range of methodologies to provide actionable insight on what consumers want and why. This content included market reports, European titles and ‘bigger picture’ cross-departmental pieces. In addition, I tailored and frequently presented bespoke insight to clients, and collaborated with journalists and media, with content often featured in trade press and publications such as The Telegraph, The Times and The Financial Times.

Authored business reports on professional services, finance and engineering titles, with a heavy focus on competitive analysis and macroeconomic trends. Managed the whole research process, designing qualitative and quantitative surveys, interviewing trade experts, analysing data and generating insight.

As a business analyst, my work involved interpreting large data sets, identifying trends and providing reports across a wide range of industrial and consumer markets. Upon restructuring of the company, I assumed an intermediary role, aiding internally and at a client level, before taking on the immediate supervision and training of a new team member.
