Responsible for the LSA’s monthly inspection, ENC’s updates, charts and publications orders, organized the ship’s Emergency Response Organization, assisting the 1st Officer in future planning and delivering training to the lifeboat preparation party and lifeboat personnel.As Emergency Response, I was in charge of the navigational watch until the abandon ship order.

Responsible for the LSA’s monthly inspection, charts & publication updates, Navigational warning & T&P plotting, and crew training (lifeboat and life-raft hook release training).During an emergency, I was in charge of the lifeboat & life-raft preparation party.

As a Junior Officer of the watch, I mainly assisted the Senior Officers. I also assisted the Safety Officer in the inspection and maintenance of the LSA & FFE. In an emergency, my duty was in charge of secondary fire teams (either Boundary Cooling or Search and Rescue).
