During the course of this internship I was able to:• Learn about different materials and the process of compound developing and how this impacts the functions and performance of a tier whilst working alongside the compound developing team.• Gained insight into large scale industrial tier making processes whilst working with the engineering team at the Hungary EP.• Received training in process dynamics and control systems used in the Hungary OP and training in final product safety controls and measures at the ETC in Germany• Learnt about batch testing of new compounds and the subsequent transition to a continuous larger scale industrial process at the Hungary EP
