To supply customers with the right goods at the right time in correct quantities while maintaining decent stock levels is by no means an easy task. Nevertheless, it is the goal of every manufacturing organisation.The only way to achieve such a goal is to communicate throughout the whole supply chain - from the customer through production to the supplier.That is why S&OP should be a key part of every companys desire to increase customer satisfaction.After my graduation I worked as an operational purchaser and experienced first hand how difficult it can be to work without guidance in a fast changing environment that demands to react in ever shorter time intervals.To properly react to what is happening in the world a strong S&OP is a must have. My Goal is to build an process to not only increase customer satisfaction but also to be more transparent towards all stakeholders and detecting potential issues before they occur.Reacting and seeing impact after the fact won’t cut it anymore; start your supply chain conversation.
