Italy Tea & Infusions Association (AssoTè Infusi), is a non profit national organization.Established in February 2004, we carried the role of promoting tea consumption in Italy with the mandate of promoting the awareness of tea and its health benefits.Our mission is to provide proactive leadership on behalf of all members in the areas of advocacy, generic promotion and education/information to ensure the long-term viability of the tea industry.The activities of the Association are addressed both to consumers and professionals.The three main areas of activity are:- Advice service for businesses and professionals.- Organization of cultural and promotional events.- Promote courses and educational training activities.

The FAO Intergovernmental Group on Tea (IGG/Tea) represents a forum for intergovernmental consultation and exchange on trends in production, consumption, trade and prices of tea, including regular appraisal of the global market situation and short term outlook. The Group, under FAO auspices, considers changes in national policies and examines their international effects as pertaining to the current and prospective market situation.

As a global project manager, I develop and implement the short- and long-term Slow Tea's objectives and goals of the international expansion, and I support the international programmes in collaboration with its partners worldwide.

Italy Tea Academy is the brand through which Italy Tea & Infusions Association (AssoTè Infusi) promotes its training activities.Italy Tea & Academy is a high-level training school aimed at educating tea experts and highly specialized industry professionals. Our goal is to offer teachings that are hardly available elsewhere, with the aim of increasing knowledge and tea culture among consumers and professional operators.

Currently I work as Tea Buyer and Tea Taster for some European and Asian companies that import and export tea and other commodities related to the tea. The main job is to select suppliers or buyer from all parts of the world, tasting and evaluate the samples, control the quality of tea that is being selected, then estimate the product and decide on the price according to the market.

The Forum of the Intergovernmental Group on Tea (IGG/Tea) is a community of members who are interested in the tea industry. The Forum is an attempt to meet FAO's mission of putting information within the reach of the international community. As a gateway to the Organization's expertise and wealth of knowledge, the Forum is an attempt to improve interaction and effectiveness at all levels within the tea industry. It was created to provide a corner where members may discuss, interact and exchange knowledge on tea, from its production, trade and prices to its consumption and benefits on health.

World Tea Organization (WTeaO.org) is a world-wide platform that unites and serves world tea associations, experts, producers, merchandisers & tea lovers, and promotes the Tea Science, Tea Health, Tea Art, Tea Business and Tea Culture of “Healthy, Harmony, Pure, Nature” all over the world.

The Master of Food program is a food education project for adults developed by Slow Food Italy, consisting of 23 courses based around a particular ingredient or food category. The idea is not to train professionals, but to bring knowledge to consumers, stimulating their curiosity and promoting responsible choice-making.
