Hi, I’m a scriptwriter and partner at TMB Ibejada Filmes. I’ve been working in the audiovisual industry for more than fifteen years, writing from reality shows to fiction series, currently my focus. My path is a little peculiar as I studied mechanical engineering and worked in the oil industry until started my career again with a degree in Cinema at the Universidade Federal Fluminense.I’m the creator of the TV show Conselho Tutelar - Guardian Council (2014-2016), which increased the audience of TV Record in hundred percent during the exhibition hours. The show won grade 10 in O Globo newspaper and was one of the finalist for the TV award Contigo. I was the head writer of the series Perrengue (2017 MTV) and the third season of Gaby Estrela (2015, Gloob), scriptwriter of the shows Cidade Invisível - Invisible City (2021, Netflix), created by Carlos Saldanha, Rotas do Ódio - Trails of Hate (2017 and 2019, NBC Universal) and the second season of Segunda Chamada (2021, TV Globo), both hits from public and critics.During my career, I have written from children's series to dramas and have been able to receive doctoring scripts from Barry Schkolnick (The Good Wife), classes with Robert McKee and got a film script project selected for the International Screenwriting Laboratory, Bolivia Lab, in 2016. I also won contests from the Brazilian government with the TV show projects Não Mate o Mensageiro - Don't Kill the Messenger, about the universe of bailiff, Filhas da Liberdade - Daughter of Liberty - and Capoeira, both historical projects. The first one about the women who fought for the independence of Bahia in the 19th century and the second one about the capoeira war at Rio de Janeiro's streets in XIX.Nowadays, I’ve been focusing on narratives that show empowerment of black people, having them as main characters acting in ordinary life situations. In this way, I highlight the show Fim de Comédia - The End of Comedy, whose teaser is available on the link, and Linhas Negras - Black Lines, a documentary series about black writers of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. Both have not yet been released.I believe that sharing knowledge is important. That's why, whenever I can, I teach at Espaço Telezoom and the Academia Internacional de Cinema, giving TV series courses and workshops.
