I am an aspiring Environmental Engineering major at UC Merced with a graduation date set for 2024. My career goal is to secure a significant position in the field of Civil Engineering, ultimately aiming for roles like Project Manager.As a certified bilingual, I've effectively utilized my language skills to translate and bridge communication gaps in my current roles. I've honed my ability to handle a heavy workload and multiple responsibilities by simultaneously juggling two jobs and maintaining full-time student status throughout my university career. This experience has taught me the value of efficient time management and the importance of teamwork in achieving success.During my years at the university, I've immersed myself in a range of courses, including Statics, Dynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and other pertinent civil engineering subjects. Presently, I'm engaged in my senior project with a team of three colleagues, where we are delving into the complexities of the Ronan Point Apartment Tower collapse in 1968. Our objective is to comprehend the failure and develop a remodel plan for the tower's foundations and structure in compliance with current U.S. laws. In my role as Quality Control Manager, I ensure the use of sustainable materials and prioritize safety on the project.In addition to my ability to work effectively within a team to accomplish significant projects, I bring valuable leadership and communication skills to the table.
