Cohordinate project activities of a cross-functional team, periodical status reporting to stakholdersFunctional Area: Global R&D Food Preparation, Steam Ovens

R&D activities:- Structural calculation by means of FEM software (Solidworks Simulation) and reference standards; realization of calculation worksheets; - CAD design of hydraulic gates, design of oleo-hydraulic systems (Solidworks, Autocad).Project engineering activities:- Planning and technical control of the activities outsourced to several sub-suppliers, including manufacturing of steel carpentry or steel machining.

Calculation of steel structures by means of Autodesk Algor Simulation. Stress analysis of pipelines with Bentley AutoPipe. FEM solid modelling of solids components. Editing of technical specifications, datasheets and calculation worksheet. Control and support to sub-suppliers aimed to respect supply deadlines. Test and inspection of supply parts at supplier facilities.

Design of air intakes, exhaust outlets and filter houses of gas turbines. Mechanical calculation of steel components. Gained skills on design of sheet metal parts. Software employed: Siemens Solid Edge ST2.

Erasmus Placement Interniship. Cooperating with Quality Control and R&D I carried out a research about individuation and characterization of defects on final product (Aluminium extruded profiles), which involved subjects as metallurgy, mechanical technology, laboratory tests and analysis of gathered data. This research has been utilized as final thesis for engineering master degree.
