Experience abroad for the PhD on superelastic alloys.I performed several mechanical tests (tensile tests) in order to make a comparison of the available superelastic alloys. I designed and performed some compression tests on several specimens for my Ph.D. research using the best alloy identified in the previous step.I was also involved in two internal projects to perform some fea (using Abaqus and Solidworks) to make a comparison between experimental and numerical data. The first simulation was on a biomedical staple while the second was on a vena cava filter.

I was involved in the organization and teaching of a basic level class to use a computer. In particular the subjects taught were Internet and Microsoft Word and Excel.

I performed a finite element analysis on the kinematic chain of the flight control system of the M346 trainer. The simulation was aimed at verifying the deviation of the force-displacement curve between CAD model and prototype. The simulation has been performed using SAMCEF.
