My mission was to grow the existing partners and bring new ones for Symantec: during the years spent I have always overachieved my target.At the end I have managed the TOP partners in terms of revenue and knowledge in the north area of Italy.

I had responsability for distributor and reseller in Italy and Greece for the Symbol division, leader in autoID/mobility area.In this role I had to manage existing channel and develop new partners.

In 2005 Sun Microsystems (http://www.sun.com) merged with StrorageTek: in the new organization I manage distributor and its resellers sharing my target with a team of people. In particular I'm the team sales leader of the three person which primary task is to start up AVNET, the biggest distributor for Sun.

I was engaged with the objective to develop “indirect channel” in StorageTek Italy S.p.A. (http://www.storagetek.com), multinational American company hardware-producing in the storage sector. In that years the company was changing its “go to market model” from direct to indirect sales: only 4 direct V.A.R. had got a contract with StorageTek Italy until that period. For the first time the Company decided to sign a contract with a VAD (Avnet) and assigned it to me: I started up Avnet with satisfaction and about 40 new resellers were born in the first year; after that, Company assigned to me the second one (Magirus).In 2005 Sun Microsystems (http://www.sun.com) merged with StrorageTek.

I was employed for about 3,6 years in Intergraph Italia LLC (http://www.intergraph.com/), multinational American company hardware e software producing. In the first year I was in the technical department as a pre/post sale; after that I became promoter of volume products, either from marketing either from sale point of view. This function included training and management of the “channel” for indirect sales and development of specific marketing/sale actions in “large account” for direct sales.
